OEM/ODM Supplement Quote Brief: Information Checklist
Prepare a usable supplement quotation brief with market, formula, serving, pack, volume and documentation requirements.
Commercial and market inputs
Brand/contact and destination market; intended sales channel; target audience and positioning; launch goal with flexible and fixed dates. Estimated order quantity, number of SKUs and flavors, reorder assumptions, delivery destination and preferred shipping basis. Mark estimates clearly.
Product and packaging inputs
Dosage form, ingredient names and target amounts, serving size, ingredient restrictions and any existing formula/specification. Flag ingredients requiring market review. Flavor, sweetness, color, texture and shell/base preferences; unit count or net weight; bottle, pouch, sachet, stick pack or blister direction; artwork status and language.
Evidence and scope inputs
Share existing COAs or specifications when you have permission. Identify finished-product tests, shelf-life objectives, certification questions and required export documents. State whether you want an existing formula, a specific modification or custom development. Identify sample-review owners and what constitutes approval.
Copy-ready brief headings
Market and channel / consumer / format / ingredients and target serving / sensory targets / exclusions / primary and secondary pack / estimated volume / target timing / required evidence / open questions. If an item is undecided, write “to evaluate” and describe the decision. A complete-looking invented specification is less useful than a clear open question.
