Supplement Packaging Options and Review Checklist
Compare bottles, pouches, sachets, stick packs and blisters by barrier requirements, filling, artwork and consumer use.
Choose by product and use
Bottles and jars: fill count or net weight, neck/closure, seal, headspace and repeated opening. Pouches: barrier structure, reseal design and fill handling. Sachets and stick packs: portion, filling/sealing suitability and tear/use instructions. Blisters: unit protection, tooling and material compatibility. Cartons group and communicate; they do not replace primary-pack evaluation.
Review protection and manufacturing fit
Ask about moisture, oxygen, light and transit exposure relevant to the formula; confirm compatibility and a stability plan for the actual package. Check dimensions, seal integrity criteria, closure/liner, coding position, material specifications and any dosing device. Desiccants or other components require assessment, not automatic inclusion.
Freeze artwork and documents
Record package drawings, material references, approved artwork version, label language, mandatory information and barcode responsibility. Approve a physical or documented packaging reference and define incoming/final inspection criteria. Final component availability, MOQ and schedule are quote-specific.
