Begin with the exact SKU

A design file should identify the product name, formula version, dosage form and serving. Reusing artwork from a similar product can leave the wrong ingredient text, unit count or instructions behind. Check these fields against the signed specification before reviewing colors and finishes.

Use the correct product image

A gummy jar should show the relevant gummy product; a capsule or softgel page should use the corresponding dosage form. A plain mockup does not explain the formula or retail configuration. For MITEYO’s 15 stock-formula oral strips, use the official product packaging images and the defined 30-strip box configuration when discussing the private-label outer box.

Separate the primary pack from the artwork

Approve container or sachet material, closure, fill count or weight, coding area and secondary carton requirements. Then approve the artwork placed on that configuration. A change in bottle size, sachet dimensions or language can affect the usable print area and production files.

Create an approval record quality can use

Keep the dated proof, artwork version, formula reference and package specification together. Identify the person approving the market-facing label. Production checks should compare the packaged product and lot coding with those approved files. Include any required package or stability review in the order scope.

Make reorder changes visible

For a repeat order, compare formula, serving, pack components and artwork against the previous approved version. Record intentional changes and which reviews they require. The packaging checklist and oral-strip pack details provide a useful starting point for the approval discussion.

For a two-part AM/PM system, artwork review should distinguish the daytime and evening products on every primary pack. A powder sachet’s total fill is separate from any individual active level. For a capsule bottle, distinguish capsule count from daily serving. Keep the image used on the website consistent with the final artwork rather than allowing an early packaging visualization to become the specification by accident.
